Nicolas Ouchenir x Lucien Pellat-Finet

Lucien Pellet-Finet has teamed up this season with calligrapher Nicolas Ouchenir, who has revisited the hemp leaf as a red-hued ode to love, that resonate through the collection as a series of T-shirts.

Lucien Pellat-Finet has teamed up, for the second time, with the Estate of
Jean-Michel Basquiat in collaboration with  Artestar,  a  global  brand  licensing and  creative  consultancy  representing  elite  art,  fashion  and  design brands.

Jean-Michel  Basquiat  is  one  of  the  best-known artists  of  his  generation and is widely  considered  one  of  the most important artists of the 20th century.
His career in art spanned the late 1970s through the 1980s until his death in  1988,  at  the  age  of  27.Basquiat  works  are  edgy  and  raw,  and  through a  bold  sense  of  color  and composition,  he maintains  a  fine  balance  between  seemingly tradictory  forces  such  as  control  and spontaneity,  menace and  wit,  urban  imagery  and  primitivism.  The  Basquiat  brand  embodies  the  values  and aspirations of young, international urban culture.

Lucien Pellat‐Finet has teamed up with the artist John Matos, better‐known as CRASH, a pioneer in the graffiti movement. From his early days spent tagging New York trains to canvases exbibited in some of the biggest museums in the world, the art and street accents that made his name as CRASH resonated with the world of Lucien Pellat‐Finet, resulting in the development of two motifs, picked out in the house’s intarsia cashmere sweater.  Partnership done in collaboration with Artestar,  a global brand licensing and creative consultancy representing elite art, fashion and design brands.
